#BeActive-EU-SPORT-AWARDS – Inclusion

- Awarding of five €25,000 prizes to outstanding sport initiatives, providing financial recognition and visibility.
• Dissemination of best practices demonstrating how sport can drive social inclusion, gender equality, diversity and unity.
• Enhanced public and stakeholder awareness of sport’s transformative power in building bridges between communities and fostering peace.
• Empowered and sustainable community-led sport projects with strengthened capacity to continue serving disadvantaged groups.
• Promotion of replication and scaling of successful models across Europe, encouraging new sport-based social interventions.

- Applicant must be a legal organisation established in an eligible country (as per section 6 of the Call document).
• The entry must describe a sport initiative already implemented (proof of concept and measurable impact required).
• The project must use sport explicitly to promote one or more of: social inclusion, gender equality, diversity, unity, peace or inter-cultural/inter-generational understanding.
• Target groups must include disadvantaged or underrepresented populations (e.g. ethnic minorities, disabled persons, vulnerable youth).
• Proposals must select one of the five prize strands: Generations, Inclusion, Peace, Physical Activity or Volunteering.
• Applications must adhere to the page limits, layout and template specified in Part B of the Application Form (submission system).
• Single-stage submission; one proposal per strand per organisation.
