Expected Outcomes
• Enhanced visibility and credibility for awarded organisations, catalysing further support and partnerships.
• Replication and scaling of best practices in other regions, leading to broader social cohesion and intercultural dialogue.
• Strengthened networks between civil society, sports clubs, educational institutions and local authorities focused on peace promotion.
• Measurable improvements in mutual respect, tolerance and cooperation among participant communities as a direct result of funded activities.
Scope Requirements
• Demonstrable track record of using sport or physical activity to promote peace: evidence of significant impact in bringing together diverse communities, transcending social/cultural/political divides and fostering dialogue, tolerance and cooperation.
• Projects may operate at local, national or global scale, but must clearly articulate how sporting activities translate into sustainable peacebuilding outcomes.
• Proposals must comply with admissibility rules: page limits and layout as specified in Part B of the Application Form (section 5 of the Call document).
• Applicants must fulfil financial and operational capacity requirements and must not be subject to exclusion (sections 6 and 7 of the Call document).
Special Conditions
• Application form template updated 17 June 2025—use the new template in the portal.
• Admissibility: proposals must observe page limits and formatting (section 5, Part B of the Application Form).
• Eligibility: organisations and activities must meet country, thematic and financial criteria (sections 6 and 7).
• Evaluation: follows process in section 8; award criteria, scoring and thresholds in section 9.
• Indicative timeline (section 4): publication 4 June 2025; evaluation October 2025–March 2026; applicants informed March 2026.
• Legal and financial set-up governed by section 10 of the Call document.
• Budget: five awards of €25 000 each, one per category (Generations, Inclusion, Peace, Physical Activity, Volunteering).
