Scope Requirements
• Biodiversity Conservation and Nature-Based Solutions
• Ocean-Biodiversity-Climate Integration
• Nature Futures, Ocean Governance, and Ethics for Sustainability
• Transdisciplinary approach: integrate natural and social sciences, indigenous and local knowledge, and stakeholder co-design.
• Consortium must comprise international partners from Belmont Forum member countries; French partners must follow ANR national eligibility criteria.
• Two-step submission: Pre-proposals due 2026-03-05 (20:00 CET); invited full proposals due 2026-09-17 (20:00 CEST).
• Proposals must be submitted via the Belmont Forum online portal in English and comply with the call text and ANR financial regulations.
Special Conditions
• French participants must adhere to ANR’s national participation modalities and financial rules (see appendices).
• Projects formally endorsed as Decade Actions, requiring alignment with Decade priorities and reporting requirements.
• Strict adherence to submission deadlines and use of the specified online submission system.
