The call funds Standard Action Projects to facilitate the transition to a sustainable, circular, energy-efficient and climate-resilient economy, a toxic-free environment and to protect, restore and improve environmental quality in line with the European Green Deal. Required Results for Successful Funding

Expected Outcomes

Projects are expected to define, calculate, explain and achieve measurable impacts under the ‘Impact’ award criterion, including: – Progress towards a sustainable, circular, energy-efficient and climate-resilient economy. – Reduction of pollution (air, water, soil, noise) and chemical and industrial emissions. – Increased resource recovery, waste prevention and sustainable management of natural resources. – Restoration and protection of environmental quality and biodiversity. – Adoption of non-toxic materials and technologies. – Integration of New European Bauhaus principles in design and societal engagement. – Enhanced public awareness, stakeholder participation and capacity building. – Potential for replication, upscaling and long-term socio-economic benefits. – Contribution to the objectives of the Circular Economy and Quality of Life sub-programme and the European Green Deal.
Funded areas

Scope Requirements

1. Projects must be Standard Action Projects as defined in Section 2 of the call document. 2. They must target one or more specific topics fully defined in Section 2 under the Circular Economy and Quality of Life sub-programme. 3. A maximum of two sub-topics may be selected in the ‘Compliance with LIFE programme objectives and call topic’ section of the application form; only these will be evaluated. 4. Projects solely on environmental governance are excluded (covered under LIFE-2025-SAP-ENV-GOV). 5. Adhere to admissibility conditions (Section 5) and proposal page limits/layout in Part B of the application form. 6. Involve organisations from eligible countries (Section 6). 7. Demonstrate financial/operational capacity and meet exclusion criteria (Section 7). 8. Comply with award criteria, scoring and thresholds (Section 9) and follow submission/evaluation procedures and timelines (Section 8 and Section 4).
