Required Results for Successful Funding

Expected Outcomes

– Efficient delivery of the quantified project objectives by the end of the implementation period. – Contribution to the European Green Deal and achievement of the targets set out in the EU Climate Law. – Support for reaching the Union’s intermediate climate target of at least 55 % net greenhouse gas emission reduction (1990 baseline) by 2030.
Funded areas

Scope Requirements

• Recovery, recycling and reclamation of ozone-depleting substances in foams and testing of alternatives to fluorinated greenhouse gases, including their recovery, reclamation and recycling

• Actions supporting the shift to zero-emission road transport

• Decarbonisation of other transport modes, fostering intermodality and modal shift

• Increase in renewable energy generation and use, and improvements in energy efficiency

• Reduction of energy use and GHG emissions in industrial production and in waste management

• Development and implementation of land and coastal management practices to reduce emissions and enhance carbon removals, including conservation and enhancement of natural carbon sinks in soils and forests, and storage of carbon in long-lasting products

• Industrial solutions for carbon removal, carbon capture, use and/or storage

Special Conditions

1. Submission is single-stage via the Funding & Tenders Portal; opening 24 April 2025, deadline 23 September 2025 (17:00 Brussels time). 2. Admissibility: proposals must respect page limits and layout rules (section 5 of the call document; Part B of the Application Form). 3. Eligibility: only legal entities from eligible countries and under other eligibility criteria (section 6) may participate. 4. Financial and operational capacity and exclusion criteria apply (section 7). 5. Evaluation and award: submission and evaluation procedures (section 8 and Online Manual); award criteria, scoring and thresholds (section 9); indicative timeline for evaluation and grant agreement signature (section 4). 6. Legal and financial set-up: governed by the LIFE Model Grant Agreement and LIFE Regulation 2021/783 (section 10). 7. Applicants must use the provided templates and annexes (Standard Application Form, Detailed Budget Table, Participant Information, etc.) and comply with EU Financial Regulation 2024/2509, the Annotated Model Grant Agreement (AGA), and Funding & Tenders Portal terms. 8. Once the entry point in the Submission System is confirmed, it cannot be changed.
