Expected Outcomes
Scope Requirements
• R&I to mature disruptive or game-changing digitalisation technologies for space transportation
• Proposals must promote multi-actor cooperation (industry, SMEs, research institutions) and demonstrate pathways to rapid commercial use in space
• Use and build on existing European component-level technologies and building blocks to strengthen non-dependence and competitiveness
• Demonstrate complementarity and synergies with H2020, Horizon Europe, national and ESA-funded projects
• Contribute to GCSS partnership KPI monitoring; include plans for reporting results to the GCSS European Partnership
• Address the gender dimension (sex and gender analysis) in R&I content only if directly relevant to project objectives
Special Conditions
• Admissible participants: legal entities established in EU Member States, Norway, Iceland, Canada, New Zealand, Switzerland and the UK; entities controlled by non-eligible countries require national guarantees to preserve EU strategic autonomy
• Ineligible: entities established outside the above scope
• If using satellite-based EO, PNT and timing data/services, beneficiaries must use Copernicus and/or Galileo/EGNOS
• Mandatory declaration of ownership and control for all participants, assembled by the coordinator
• Compliance with Horizon Europe rules on financial and operational capacity, exclusion, and evaluation criteria (Annexes B, C, D, F, G)
• Projects must report to the GCSS partnership and support its KPI monitoring
