Ecophyto Maturation - ECOM 2025

• Emergence of innovative, operational and deployable solutions (products, technologies, methodologies, services) that materially reduce PPP usage and/or associated risks and impacts
• Proven feasibility of technologies or methods under real‐world conditions leading to rapid uptake by end-users
• Matured social, organizational or policy instruments that accelerate stakeholder engagement and system transition
• Remediation approaches for decontamination of environmental matrices
• Strengthened collaborations between research and socio‐economic actors, fostering pathways to market or policy adoption
• Direct contribution to the targets and milestones of the Ecophyto 2030 Strategy

• Alignment with Ecophyto 2030 Strategy objectives: reduce use of plant protection products (PPPs) and their health/environmental risks and impacts
• Start from an existing proof of concept based on prior scientific results
• Demonstrate operational feasibility in situ under realistic conditions
• Address the needs of clearly identified end-users and target systems
• Topic 1 focus on environmental deposition/transfer reduction and/or remediation of environmental matrices
• Topic 2 focus on stakeholder mobilization, organizational innovation and public policy tools for transition to resource-efficient, sustainable PPP usage systems
• Interdisciplinary approaches permitted; SSH must be central in Topic 2
• Consortium must include at least one research partner and one socio-economic actor (e.g. private company, technical centre, professional organisation, association)
