Scope Requirements
• Proposal must develop a minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 works in fiction, animation or creative documentary; an additional short film by emerging talent is optional.
• Works must target commercial exploitation (cinema, television, digital platforms).
• Demonstrate high creative value, cultural diversity and potential for circulation throughout Europe and beyond.
• Include marketing and distribution strategies from the outset to reach European and international audiences.
• Pursue greater cooperation or co-development with partners in other MEDIA Strand countries.
• Strengthen companies’ development-phase investment and innovation capacities.
• Address sustainability, environmental respect, gender balance, inclusion, diversity and representativeness.
Special Conditions
• Submission via the Funding & Tenders Portal by 17 September 2025, 17:00 Brussels time; use CREA Lump Sum Grants [CREA-LS] or CREA-AG-LS model as appropriate.
• Evaluation criteria, scoring, thresholds and procedures defined in the call document; indicative timeline: publication 3 December 2024; evaluation Sept 2025–Jan 2026; information to applicants Mar 2026; signing of grant agreement Jun 2026.
• Grants governed by CREA Lump Sum Model Grant Agreement; applicants must use provided templates (application form, calculator, creative dossier, independence and ownership declaration, language declaration).
• Compliance with EU Regulation 2021/818, Financial Regulation 2024/2509, LEAR rules, and Funding & Tenders Portal terms and technical requirements.
