Expected Outcomes
• Creation of new narratives and interpretative models for existing collections.

Scope Requirements
• Activities must not already receive Mondriaan Fund support or other public funding.
• Minimum total project budget: €25,000. Mondriaan Fund covers up to 40% of flexible costs for programmes (no retroactive awards).
• Feasibility studies: maximum total grant €15,000; covers up to 70% of study costs.
• Two annual deadlines: 15 May and 9 October 2025 (4 P.M. CET/10 A.M. AST). Allow three months for decision after each deadline.
• Submission via Mondriaan Fund online system; pre‐registration required.
Special Conditions
• Collections disposal must follow the Guide to the Disposal of Museum Objects and Cultural Heritage Agency valuation framework.
• Collaboration applications require a jointly reasoned plan, including safeguarding and sharing of knowledge, presentation plan, detailed budget with estimates, and commitment letters. Collection mobility requires plans from both lending and receiving institutions.
• Artist involvement requires realistic, fair remuneration calculated using approved fair fee calculators; compliance with Dutch Fair Practice, Culture Governance and Diversity & Inclusion Codes.
• Complete application dossier must include KvK registration, institutional profile, activity history, plan (max 20 pages for programmes/collaborations, 10 pages for feasibility), budget and financing plan, letters of support, and audited accounts.
