What is the Improving digital skills among migrants Call?

Grant Description
This call under the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund supports transnational projects that develop and implement digital approaches and tools to improve integration, information management, communication and service delivery for migrants and asylum seekers across Member States. It aims to foster cooperation, share best practices and enhance digital solutions for inclusion and access to services.

• Enhanced transnational cooperation and networking among integration, asylum and migration stakeholders across the EU.

• Development and dissemination of innovative, replicable solutions—especially digital tools and gender-sensitive approaches—that improve integration outcomes.

• Strengthened policy frameworks and evidence base for effective asylum and migration management at EU and national levels.

• Increased capacity of public authorities, civil society and private partners to deliver high-quality services in health, education, labour market inclusion and child protection.

• Tangible improvements in migrants’ access to rights, services and socio-economic opportunities, leading to more durable integration pathways.

Scope Requirements

• Applicants must be legal entities established in one or more of the eligible Member States or third countries as listed in Section 6 of the call document.

• Proposals must demonstrate the financial and operational capacity of the lead applicant and all beneficiaries (Section 7).

• Consortia must include at least two independent legal entities from different eligible countries; the precise minimum number and type of partners per topic is defined in the call document.

• The project’s objectives and activities must fall within one of the five thematic priorities and respect the overall budget envelope (EUR 34 000 000) and indicative number of grants.

• Proposals must comply with the page limits, layout and structure requirements for Part B of the Application Form (Section 5 and the online form template).

• Projects must be implemented within the AMIF programme period in accordance with the AMIF Regulation (2021/1147) and the EU Financial Regulation (2024/2509).

Special Conditions

• Only proposals submitted via the Funding & Tenders Portal by 16 September 2025, 17:00 Brussels time will be admissible.

• Applicants must select the correct grant type (AMIF-PJG or AMIF-AG) at submission; this choice cannot be changed later.

• Questions on the call must be sent by email to HOME-AMIF-UNION-ACTIONS@ec.europa.eu; no live Q&A during the 14 May 2025 information session. General Q&As will be published in the Portal’s Topics Q&As section.

• Submission and evaluation procedures, award criteria, scoring and thresholds are set out in Sections 8 and 9 of the call document and the Funding & Tenders Portal Online Manual.

• The legal and financial set-up of selected projects will follow the AMIF Model Grant Agreement (Section 10 and the Annotated Model Grant Agreement).

• Lead Entities must complete LEAR appointment and legal entity validation before the grant signature.
