– Products and activities that effectively translate and package scientific education research findings for practical use in schools, institutions and policy settings.
– Increased uptake and implementation of research-based insights, tools and materials by end users in and around education.
– Strengthened collaboration between researchers and practitioners/policymakers, fostering ownership and relevance of outputs.
– Enhanced visibility and dissemination of NRO-funded research, contributing to innovation and improvement in educational practice and policy.
– Sustainable pathways for integrating research outcomes into teaching, learning and policymaking processes.

– Applicant: principal investigator of an ongoing or recently (≤12 months) completed NRO-funded research project.
– Co-applicant: one or more partners from education practice or policy (existing consortium or new).
– Partner must guarantee co-financing equal to or greater than the NRO subsidy request (cash or in-kind contributions such as staff time, equipment or facilities, valued at least equal to the requested grant).
– Budget request per project: maximum €10 000; total annual call budget: €50 000.
– Funding format: lump sum for up to 12 months.
– Timing: applications may be submitted continuously, from two months before the end date of the original NRO project until 12 months after its conclusion.
– Costs: only material or personnel costs for product/activity development; entire NRO grant accrues to the lead applicant.
– Proposal: max 2 500 words; includes a separate lay summary of max 250 words (for promotional use only). No recommendation letters or additional attachments.
– Submission through ISAAC; applicants must have an account at least one working day before submission.
– Must submit a Research Data Management plan after award and before project start.
