Grant Description
This consulting mission supports small and medium enterprises in selecting the most appropriate artificial intelligence solution for prioritized use cases and defining a detailed implementation roadmap. It addresses the need to go beyond an initial data and AI diagnosis by determining whether to adopt or develop AI tools, planning data strategy, organizational and human resources, risk and impact management.
Required Results for Successful Funding

Expected Outcomes

- A clear, justified selection of the optimal AI approach for each prioritized use case (reuse, adaptation or development).
• A comprehensive implementation roadmap detailing required data assets, organizational adjustments, HR upskilling, tool acquisition and budgetary planning.
• A risk & impact assessment report covering organizational, legal, technical and HR implications.
• Optionally, a concrete data collection and labeling action plan to ensure model readiness.
• Ongoing monitoring and adjustments via three days of personalized advisory follow-up to ensure effective execution.
Funded areas

Scope Requirements

Eligible applicants must be independent small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as defined by the EU or independent ETIs (mid-caps) with fewer than 2,000 employees. In addition, they must:
• Have existed for at least 3 years.
• Employ a minimum of 10 staff.
• Generate at least €250,000 in turnover over the last 12 months.
• Have completed the Diag Data IA diagnostic phase and wish to pursue AI implementation.
• Be either clients or non-clients of Bpifrance.
Excluded are companies classified as “in difficulty” under EU regulations.
Additional Conditions for Applicants

Special Conditions

- Engagement is limited to 13 man-days over a 6 to 10-week period, including 3 days of follow-up by the Bpifrance advisor.
• The mission is delivered by a tandem: one Bpifrance Responsible Conseil and one independent consultant selected by Bpifrance.
• Pricing: €9,000 HT for Bpifrance clients; €13,000 HT for non-clients.
• Subsidy is granted subject to available budget and eligibility verification.
• Companies must not be in financial distress per EU definitions.
