Scope Requirements
• Consortia must involve interdisciplinary collaboration across at least two academic disciplines (e.g. environmental science, biology, technology, economics, planning).
• Mandatory collaboration with one or more industry partners (SMEs, larger companies or other practice organisations) to ensure co-creation and direct knowledge transfer.
• Research must be of an applied-sciences nature, with clear pathways to practical implementation.
• Projects must address one or more of the thematic questions defined under the PVG Thematische Calls 2025 'Practical knowledge of Food and Green,' focusing on receiving, processing or applying knowledge for specific societal challenges in the green domain.
• Projects must comply with the PVG Thematische Calls 2025 programme rules and budgetary guidelines.
Special Conditions
• Total available budget for the call is €4,000,000; individual project budgets must adhere to limits set out in the Regieorgaan SIA funding regulations.
• Finance type: Applied Science funding; all cost categories must follow the Regieorgaan SIA financial rules.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration, industry partnership and an applied-sciences research approach are mandatory; applications missing any of these elements will be deemed ineligible.
• Projects must conform to the general grant conditions of Regieorgaan SIA (e.g. reporting, intellectual property, dissemination obligations).
