Installation and expansion of publicly accessible electric vehicle charging infrastructure on a designated segment of the TEN-T linked A12 road in Central and Western Lithuania to support freight and bus charging, enhancing cross-border EV corridor capacity.
Required Results for Successful Funding

Expected Outcomes

At least 11 new publicly accessible charging access points (including very high-power chargers for freight transport or buses) put into operation. Indicator: Number of charging access points operational (unit: pcs). Enhanced EV charging coverage along the A12 corridor segment, contributing to reduced range anxiety and support for sustainable transport and TEN-T corridor electrification.
Funded areas

Scope Requirements

Eligible applicants: large, medium and small private enterprises (as defined by EU 651/2014), excluding sectors inapplicable under Article 1(3) or (4) of that Regulation. Joint projects only. Location: chargers must be sited in publicly accessible areas alongside one side of A12 km 140–160 or within 3 km of its exits. Each project must deliver at least one charging park per chosen side, with total installed power ≥ 300 kW and at least one individual charging point ≥ 150 kW. Maximum grant per project/beneficiary: €200 000. Funding intensity: large firms up to 35 %; medium up to 55 %; small up to 60 %. Own contribution: at least 65 % (large), 45 % (medium), 40 % (small). Eligible costs: procurement and installation per simplified unit costs registry; incurred and paid by 27 Feb 2026. Project duration: to 27 Feb 2026. No VAT or cross-financing.

Special Conditions

Continuous call until €200 000 is allocated. No advance payments. Only new, unused chargers. Chargers must register in the Public/Semi-Public Charging Points Information System (from 31 May 2023). De minimis/state-aid rules apply; maximum state aid per enterprise €4 000 000; aid ceilings per enterprise type as above. Compliance with permitting and grid-connection conditions (ESO technical conditions, contracts within 12 months). Universal design requirements; 5-year post-project operation, maintenance, non-transfer obligation. Penalty and repayment if misrepresentation or non-compliance. No funding for equipment at objects already mandated by law if not yet installed. Projects only on Lithuanian territory.
