Expected Outcomes
• Validate technical solutions and perform initial technico-economic assessments to de-risk subsequent development phases.
• Deliver a comprehensive final report demonstrating achievement of objectives and proper use of funds.
• Position the project for follow-on financing or commercialization steps upon successful completion of the maturation/feasibility phase.
Scope Requirements
• Project must address a technological or next-generation innovation with significant technical risk requiring maturation and/or technico-economic validation.
• No eligible costs may be incurred prior to the official date of submission of the aid application.
• Eligible costs are limited to internal and external R&D expenditures directly linked to the innovation project.
• Maximum project duration is 24 months.
• Requested grant cannot exceed €50 000.
Special Conditions
• Payment is split into two tranches:
– First installment upon contract signature and fulfillment of any suspensive conditions.
– Second installment upon project completion, subject to submission and validation of a final program report and detailed statement of expenses paid.
• No application fees or administrative instruction fees.
• Final payment is conditional on delivering the required reports and expense summaries to Bpifrance.
