Expected Outcomes
• Promotion of the twin transitions by testing and preparing for scale-up of at least 10 valorisation pilots, combining mature research results transdisciplinarily, fostering multistakeholder collaborations, industry–academia co-creation and citizen engagement for swifter, human-centric valorisation
• Enhanced retention of economic and societal value in Europe by piloting research-based solutions with high scale-up potential
Scope Requirements
• Ensure early involvement of diverse stakeholders (industry, academia, public sector, citizens) and connect to twin transition goals
• Incorporate competition among pilots to select highest-potential solutions
• Conduct a preparatory phase to derive insights on skills, resources, tools and challenges for scaling up
• Develop and provide targeted training modules, methodological tools, guidelines and best practice repositories to support cross-disciplinary scale-up
• Align activities with EU objectives of boosting industrial competitiveness, resilience and open strategic autonomy through effective knowledge valorisation
Special Conditions
• Single-stage submission by 23 September 2025, 17:00 Brussels time
• Eligible participants as per Annex B of the Horizon Europe General Annexes; non-associated third countries subject to specific funding provisions
• Proposals must comply with page limits and layout rules in Annex A and E and use the HE CSA application template
• Applicants must select and align their proposal with one of WP2025 Industry destinations 1, 2, 4 or 6 and address the respective expected impacts
• Evaluation based on standard HE CSA criteria (Annex D), submission and evaluation procedures (Annex F)
• Budget: ~€1 000 000, indicative one grant
