Water4All 2025 Joint Transnational Call “Water and health”

Projects are expected to deliver: (1) evidence-based data and methodologies to inform and support implementation of the European Green Deal, Zero Pollution Action Plan, Water Framework Directive, Just Transition Mechanism, Water Resilience Strategy and UN Sustainable Development Goals; (2) validated, scalable monitoring technologies for improved risk assessment and early warning; (3) sustainable, cost-effective treatment solutions that ensure safe drinking water and sanitation; (4) integrated governance frameworks and socio-economic models to enhance policy coherence and stakeholder engagement; (5) contributions to the One Health agenda by demonstrating transdisciplinary approaches linking human, environmental and animal health.

• Address at least one of the four topics defined in Theme IV of the Water4All SRIA: (1) Waterborne contaminants and health risks; (2) Innovative tools and technologies for monitoring; (3) Water treatment and exposure mitigation; (4) Governance, socio-economic innovation and policy integration.
• Consortium must include a minimum of three eligible partners requesting funding from three different participating Funding Partner Organisations and involve at least two independent legal entities from two different EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries.
• Early Career Researcher modality available for PIs with PhD awarded after 12 September 2015.
• Projects must align with national/regional eligibility rules of the participating countries (pending confirmation: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, Turkey, UK).
